Scheduled Emails
Scheduled emails let you queue a message to a lead now and have it sent automatically at a future date and time. Track everything you've queued at Marketing → Scheduled Emails.
Schedule an email
You schedule from a lead, not from this page:
- Open a lead and choose Email.
- Compose the message (or pick an email template) and select the sending provider.
- Set a scheduled at date and time in the future, and a timezone.
- Send — the email is queued instead of sent immediately, and an entry appears on the lead's timeline.
Merge variables are rendered at the moment you schedule, so the queued message already contains the lead's details.
The scheduled emails list
The list shows each queued email with its subject, recipient, scheduled time, the lead and sender, and the email provider. You can filter by status and search by subject, recipient, or lead.
Statuses
- Pending — queued and waiting for its send time.
- Processing — currently being sent.
- Sent — delivered to the provider, with a sent timestamp.
- Failed — the send failed; the error and attempt count are recorded.
- Cancelled — cancelled before it sent.
Reschedule or cancel
While an email is still Pending, you can:
- Reschedule it to a different future date and time.
- Cancel it so it never sends.
Note
Only pending emails can be rescheduled or cancelled. Once an email is processing, sent, or failed, it can no longer be changed from here.
