Getting Started

Calendar

The Calendar at /admin/calendar brings the dates that matter across your portfolio into one view — what rent is due, what's been collected, what's overdue, plus expenses, scheduled maintenance and marketing follow-ups. Open it from Calendar in the Overview section of the sidebar.

What the calendar shows

Each day is summarized from several sources:

  • Rent invoices — receivable invoices placed on their due date, bucketed as Collected (paid), Outstanding (not yet due) or Overdue (past due with a balance).
  • Expenses — placed on their expense date with a daily total.
  • Maintenance — approved contractor quotations are marked on their scheduled start date.
  • Lead follow-ups and showings — marketing tasks (a lead's next follow-up and any scheduled showing) appear on their dates.

Note

Amounts on the calendar come from your invoices and expenses, so the day totals line up with what you see in rent collection and accounting.

Monthly and yearly views

Switch between two views:

  • Monthly — a full month grid. Click any day to open a detail drawer with that day's items. Use the arrows to move between months.
  • Yearly — a year-at-a-glance summary. Use the year control to change years.

Filtering

Narrow the calendar with filters for:

  • Property
  • Status — Collected, Outstanding, Overdue, Expenses or Maintenance
  • Tenant
  • Contractor
  • Program

Active filters show as chips you can clear individually. Because some filters only apply to one kind of item (for example, a contractor filter is about expenses and maintenance, a program filter is about invoices), the calendar hides the sources a filter doesn't apply to so the totals stay consistent.

Tip

Filter by Status → Overdue to turn the month into a quick collections worklist, then click into a day to see exactly which invoices are behind.
