Contractors And Work Orders

The maintenance tools let you coordinate repairs with contractors — from assigning work to approving quotes and paying them.

Add a contractor

Contractors come from a shared global directory, so you add them one of two ways:

• Browse the global directory and add an existing contractor to your organization, or
• Invite by email — if they aren't in the directory yet, enter their email and we'll create their record and send a setup link. They fill in their own details when they join the contractor portal.

Either way they can then submit quotes and request payment.

Working with contractors

• Contractors can submit quotations for work; you review and approve.
• After work is done, they request payment, which you approve and pay.
• Payments are tracked against the contractor and flow into your expenses.
